Fresh pepper and cream cheese salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large red bell peppers
  • 2 cups cream cheese, grainy
  • 1 some balsamic cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 2 small spring onions
  • possibly croutons or pine nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Finely dice the bell peppers and finely slice the spring onions. Mix both with the cream cheese, salt, pepper, sugar, and balsamic vinegar, and season to taste. Depending on your taste, you can add croutons or toasted pine nuts. If you want something a little more colorful, you can also use different colored bell peppers. However, the red ones have a sweeter flavor and, in my opinion, are best for the salad. This salad makes a great side dish for a barbecue or as a light salad for a low-carb diet.
