Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slices of white bread
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- Salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 can of sliced mushrooms (approx. 850 ml), or mushrooms of your choice
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 tbsp cheese, grated
- 8 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Toast the bread and let it cool. Peel the garlic, sprinkle with salt, and crush it. Mix with 2 tablespoons of butter and spread it on the bread. Drain the mushrooms well in a sieve, then mix with the egg, cheese, and parsley. Spread the mixture on the bread and top with butter flakes. Place in a preheated oven (200°C) or grill and bake for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Tip: This also works well with mushrooms such as chestnut mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, or oyster mushrooms.
