Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 140 g wheat bran
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • n. B. Water, lukewarm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

extremely low in calories, but very filling, makes about 10 pieces

Mix all ingredients well. Add enough water to make the dough easy to shape, using a careful amount. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or longer. Preheat the oven to 250°C. Shape into 10 rolls and bake for about 8 minutes. Prepared this way, each roll has only 50 calories. It’s light, but delicious—but very filling thanks to the high fiber content (wheat bran). Best eaten lukewarm with reduced-fat margarine. I personally love the taste. I don’t know about others, but I’d appreciate feedback.
