Fruit butterfly for the buffet or children’s birthday party

Peel the kiwi, cut off two slices, and set aside. Cut the rest into small cubes. Dice the washed strawberries and apple as well. Cut two slices and two sticks, approximately 2 cm high and 0.5 cm wide, from the banana (both will form the antennae and eyes). Dice the rest of the banana as well. Sprinkle the banana and apple pieces with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. First, place the kiwi cubes in an oval shape in the center of a plate to form the butterfly body. Make the upper wings from the strawberry cubes, and attach the lower wings from the apple and banana cubes to the butterfly body. Place the kiwi slices on top of the upper wings. Place the two banana sticks on the upper side of the butterfly body as antennae, and place the two banana slices above them as eyes. Use the melted chocolate to draw two pupils onto the banana slices. You can also paint a mouth on the top of the body using the chocolate coating.
