Fruit skewers on the melon grill

Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 1 watermelon(s)
  • 1 bowl of strawberries
  • 1 bowl of grapes
  • 1 bowl of physalis
  • 1 bowl of blueberries
  • 3 stalk(s) Celery

You will also need wooden skewers. Cut the watermelon in half. Hollow out the lid and body using a cutter and set the melon pieces aside. I used a spherical cutter. Separate three celery stalks, wash them, and cut them to the same length. Use a knife to make three small slits in the base of the melon body and pierce each one into the celery. This gives the melon grill its stable feet. Push the wooden skewers through the upper edge of the body to create the so-called grill rack. Push two toothpicks into the edge and secure the lid to the sides. Wash and dry the remaining fruit and arrange it on skewers along with the melon pieces. You can be even more creative here: vary it with cheese, pineapple, dates, bananas, etc. Simply skewer whatever you like.
