Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 handful of mushrooms, peeled and sliced
- n. B. water
- ½ tsp vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
like a “cream sauce”
First, finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with the oil. When the onion pieces are golden yellow, add the mushrooms and let them simmer for a few minutes. Then deglaze with a little water (about 1 dl) and add the vegetable stock and cashew butter. Stir well and bring to a boil. You can now add as much water or cashew butter as you like until the desired consistency is reached. The sauce tastes great with spaghetti, potatoes, or rice. Of course, other mushrooms can also be used depending on the season.
