Meatballs with onion, garlic and cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, packed in blocks
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 slices of Gouda
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. oregano
  • e.g. tomato paste
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Finely chop the onion. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and very carefully place the meatballs whole into the dish. Season to taste, drizzle with tomato paste and lemon juice, and garnish with onions and garlic cloves. Place in the oven at 150°C for half an hour, then cover with cheese and cook for another half hour at 200°C.
