Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g tomatoes, peeled from the can
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • ½ garlic clove(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • ½ tbsp vinegar (table vinegar), vegan
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the slices of toast and press the garlic through a garlic press or finely chop it. Mix everything with the sunflower oil and let it simmer for a short while. Peel and finely dice the onion and bell peppers, then add them to the bread mixture along with the peeled tomatoes. Blend everything thoroughly. Season with vinegar, salt, and pepper and refrigerate until ready to serve.
