Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg cherries
- 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
- 1 stalk of lavender flowers
- n. B. orange peel
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Wash the cherries, remove the stones, and cut into small pieces. Boil uncovered with the preserving sugar for 3-5 minutes until bubbling. Meanwhile, pluck the lavender blossoms from the stems, add them to the cherries at the end of the cooking time, and stir in. Stir in the orange zest, if desired. Pour the mixture into clean jars while still hot and seal tightly. Store the jars in a cool, dark place.
