Barley porridge with fresh figs

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g barley flakes, fine
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 dashes honey, liquid
  • 2 figs
  • some coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp, heaped flaxseed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Simmer the barley flakes in a saucepan with milk, cinnamon, and honey over low heat for about 5 minutes until the desired consistency is reached. Quarter the figs. Serve garnished with coconut flakes and flaxseeds on top of the porridge.
