Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 2 packs of feta cheese
- 250 g cocktail tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- lots of olive oil
- basil
- oregano
- Paprika powder, sweet
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. First, halve the cherry tomatoes. Dice the onion into small cubes and press the garlic through a garlic press. Place the feta in a large baking dish. Arrange the tomatoes, onion, and garlic around it. Drizzle with a generous amount of olive oil. The more olive oil you use, the creamier the sauce will be. Add the seasonings. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-30 minutes, until the feta cheese is lightly browned. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Before draining the pasta, remove a ladleful of pasta water. Add the ladleful of pasta water to the prepared tomato and feta mixture and mix everything well until creamy. Season the sauce to taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Then add the pasta and mix everything again.
