Eggnog Cake with Almonds
The perfect eggnog cake with almonds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Butter
- 75 g Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Vanilla pod scraped out
- 150 g Ground almonds
- 100 g Wheat flour
- 120 ml Advocaat
- 50 g Almonds, sliced
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, then stir in a mixing bowl, butter, vanilla pulp and sugar until foamy, add eggs one after the other. Add the almonds, ground and eggnog. Mix flour with salt and baking powder, sieve in and fold in.
- Grease a springform pan (24 – 26 cm) well, pour in the batter and sprinkle with the almonds, sliced. Bake for 40-50 minutes.
