a hearty, nutty explosion of flavor
Prepare a breading station with 1 egg, flour, and breadcrumbs. Whisk the egg with salt and pepper. Then coat the sausage slice in flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally coat it several times in the breadcrumbs. Fry the breaded sausage slice evenly on both sides in a hot pan with oil until golden brown. Crack the second egg into a pan and fry it sunny-side down. Wash the lettuce leaves, slice the tomato and gherkins. Briefly warm the burger bun, e.g., on a low heat in a toaster, or briefly toast the underside in a pan. Then spread both sides of the bun with the creamy aioli. Peel the onion and slice it thinly. Chop the cashews into small pieces. Then fry them together with the onions in a pan with oil. Place the breaded sausage slice on the bottom bun. Stack the lettuce, tomato, gherkin, and then the fried egg on top. Finally, add the roasted cashews and onions and finish with the top half of the bun.
