Strawberry yogurt smoothie

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g yogurt, 1.5% fat
  • 15 large strawberries
  • ½ carambola (star fruit)

Got leftover strawberries or aren’t in the mood for the boring, usual meal? Then this is the perfect change and sweet and sour refreshment at the same time!

Pour the 500g of yogurt into a blender (not a hand blender). Separate the strawberries from the stems and green calyx. Wash and dry them with a paper towel. Add them to the yogurt. Blend the mixture on low for about 15 seconds, then on high for about 1 minute. Once the mixture is smooth and pink, pour it into glasses. A slice of star fruit cut in half makes a great garnish. This drink is a popular light dessert or as a snack, especially on hot summer days.
