  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 dash of lemon juice, about half a lemon
  • 100 g oat flakes

  • some cinnamon
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash and pit the plums, and cut them into quarters or eighths, depending on their size. Mix in a bowl with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice, then spread the mixture into a buttered casserole or quiche dish. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a second bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, walnuts, and flour. Knead in the softened butter and crumble the mixture over the fruit. Bake the crumble in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot or warm. The crumble tastes best with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
