  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fried egg and cheese sandwich

Use a small glass (e.g. a liqueur glass) to punch a hole in the center of the toast slices. Melt some butter in a frying pan and place the toast slices in the melted butter. Place the eggs and yolks in the toast holes. Season with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. When the egg white between the toast and the yolk is white, turn the toast slices over. Immediately after turning, place a slice of Cheddar cheese on each slice of toast. When the egg side is well browned, turn again. The toast is now resting on the cheese. Fry the cheese side until the cheese no longer runs. Then the toast is ready.
