Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 tsp rosemary, dried
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 tsp celery seeds
- 3 tsp mustard powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 150 g cane sugar
- 200 g mustard, medium hot
- 150 ml balsamic vinegar, lighter
- 3 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp chili sauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Grind the rosemary, peppercorns, and celery seeds in a mortar and pestle. Combine with the remaining spices and stir into the remaining ingredients. Let the mustard sauce simmer for at least 1 hour.
