- 1 kg jacket potatoes, freshly cooked (floury)
- 100 g cream
- 200 g sour cream
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- Salt
- pepper
- chives

Erdäpfelkas, a popular side dish to hearty snacks
Peel the potatoes and press them through a potato ricer. Stir in the cream, sour cream, and onion, and season with salt and pepper. Serve the potato cheese sprinkled with chives. “Erdäpfelkas” is eaten spread on buttered bread or with a pretzel.
