Mashed potatoes with chili and herb salt

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, waxy
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp, leveled herb salt
  • 1 pinch of chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Wash the potatoes and boil them in lightly salted water for about 25-30 minutes until tender. Then drain, let them cool slightly, and peel them. Place the potatoes one at a time on a large board and press them flat with your hand, squashing them. Heat the oil in a pan and add the butter. Add the potatoes and fry over medium heat until they have some color. Season with herb salt and chili. Serve with sour cream sauce.
