Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g brown rice
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 can of corn
  • 4 bags of ready-made salad dressing mix (Salatkrönung spicy garden herbs)
  • 12 tbsp oil
  • 12 tbsp water

Prepare the brown rice according to the package instructions and place it in a bowl. In the meantime, clean and dice the bell peppers. Slice the radishes. Cut the cucumber lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon, then slice it as well. Drain the canned corn. Add all the vegetables to the rice in the bowl. Place all four bags of Salatkrönung in a separate mixing bowl, add the water and oil, and mix the dressing well. Then add the dressing to the rice and vegetables in the bowl and fold in. As a refreshing vegetarian party salad without mayonnaise, this rice salad is perfect for barbecues and won’t sit heavily on the stomach.
