Garlic Bread Omelette

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 slices of bread
  • some salt
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda or Edam), diced
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Halve the peeled garlic cloves and rub them all over the bread slices. Cut the bread slices into small cubes and fry them crispy in a pan with olive oil. Beat the eggs until frothy, add a little salt, and mix in the diced cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the toasted bread cubes and let it set over medium heat. Turn the omelet over (use a flat plate if necessary). Continue cooking briefly.
