Bacon and Brussels Sprouts …

The perfect bacon and brussels sprouts … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 g Bacon cubes
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoon Water
  1. Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut into 3 to 4 slices, depending on their size.
  2. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the bacon cubes in it. When they start to get crispy, add the Brussels sprouts slices and simmer until they start to brown on the underside.
  3. Now sprinkle with salt and pepper, add the water, put a lid on the pan and cook the vegetables in their own juice for about 7 minutes over a mild heat, shaking the pan from time to time.
  4. I served this bacon Brussels sprouts with a braised lamb roast today.
