- 1 tbsp butter
- 500 g sauerkraut
- 500 g tagliatelle, cooked
- 200 g Gouda, grated
- 1 cup of cream

Sauté finely chopped onions and garlic press in butter, add sauerkraut, and sauté briefly. Layer sauerkraut, pasta, cheese, sauerkraut, pasta, and cheese in a buttered casserole dish until all the ingredients are used up. The top layer should be cheese. Pour the cream evenly over the top. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 30 minutes.
