Party rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 200 g flour
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 100 g fried onions
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat) or 155°C (fan oven). Mix the ingredients thoroughly. It’s recommended to mix the dry ingredients first, then add the oil and quark, and finally the cheese, fried onions, and diced ham. This ensures a nice, even dough. Shape the dough into small rolls. Depending on the size, this can be between 15 and 20, or even more. Bake the rolls on the middle rack for 30 minutes, remove from the oven, and let cool. They can be eaten warm or cold the next day. For a vegetarian alternative, the diced ham can be omitted entirely.
