Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of pointed cabbage
  • 3 onions
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 6 tbsp Balsamic vinegar bianco
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Prepare a large bowl. Quarter the pointed cabbage and remove the stalk. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and season lightly with salt. Dice the onions and fry them lightly in a pan with the oil. Pour the oil and onions over the cabbage and mix everything together. In a glass, mix the vinegar and sugar, then pour this over the cabbage and mix everything together. A small puddle should soon form at the bottom of the bowl. The salad should also have a strong sweet and sour flavor. Close the bowl and let it sit for a few hours. Then season again to taste.
