  • e.g. date(s), fresh
  • e.g. walnuts
  • some butter
  • some cinnamon

Persian recipe – extremely delicious and easy to make

The quantity is up to you: you simply need the same amount of nuts as dates. Roast the walnuts in a pan without fat. They shouldn’t get too brown! Pit the dates (make a small cut on the side, then press out the pit) and fill each with a nut. Melt some butter in a pan and toss the dates in it. Dust with cinnamon and cover. Remove from the heat and let stand for a while so the dates absorb the flavors. Dates are delicious both hot and cold.
