One Pot Cauliflower Pasta with Ham Crumbs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 500g pasta
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 liter broth, strong
  • 150 g diced ham
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp butter
  • some parsley, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Add the pasta and cauliflower florets to a large pot along with the broth and cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, if desired. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, fry the ham cubes in a small pan until crispy. Then add the butter and breadcrumbs and toast. Sprinkle the finished cauliflower pasta with ham crumbs and parsley and serve.
