Homemade almond butter

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Lightly toast the flaked almonds in a pan. Purée the still-warm almonds in a tall bowl. Add a little water and 1 tablespoon of honey, and purée again. You can omit the honey, but it tastes delicious due to its slight sweetness.
