Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 pack of pizza dough
  • 2 onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp spice mix for minced meat
  • 1 pinch(s) smoked salt
  • some turmeric powder
  • 2 gherkins
  • e.g. tomato(s)
  • some mustard
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Air fryer

Peel and finely chop the onions and mix well with the minced meat, spices, and 1 egg. Slice the tomatoes and slice the gherkins lengthwise. Roll out the pizza dough, cut out a round shape (or several small round shapes), and spread one half thinly with mustard. Place at least 2-3 tablespoons of minced meat on the other half, depending on the cut-out size, spread the tomato and/or cucumber on top, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Fold the mustard-coated half over the top, brush the edges with the egg white from the remaining egg, and press firmly together with the tines of a fork. Brush with the remaining egg yolk. Bake in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees. Tip: Mix the remaining minced meat with one egg white and a good handful of grated cheese and fry as meatballs at 180 degrees in the half-air fryer.
