Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g brown rice
  • 100 g smoked pork
  • ½ bulb(s) of fennel
  • ½ clove(s) garlic
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet or hot
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Thyme, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the brown rice according to the package instructions. Dice the smoked pork and fennel, and chop the garlic. Sauté the smoked pork and fennel in oil. Sauté the chopped garlic. When the fennel is tender, add the rice. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, soy sauce, and a little dried thyme.
