Gnocchi with vegetables and cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 250 g gnocchi
  • 75 g diced ham
  • 100 g buttered vegetables, frozen
  • some cornstarch
  • 200 ml cream
  • 50 g herb cream cheese
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Herbs of your choice
  • e.g. garlic powder
  • 1 spring onion(s)

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

One pot, leftovers, easy, quick

Clean the bell pepper and cut into pieces. Fry the gnocchi, the ham, and the bell pepper pieces in a pan until the gnocchi are crispy and the bell peppers are cooked. Add the buttered vegetables and cook until the vegetables are almost cooked. Dust everything with a little cornstarch (just a little at first) and add the cream. Bring to a boil, adding a little more cornstarch or cream, depending on the consistency. Add the cream cheese and melt. Season to taste with salt, pepper, herbs, and garlic powder. Slice the spring onion into rings and garnish everything with them.
