Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 3 tomatoes, dried in oil
  • 1 dash of oil from the dried tomatoes
  • 1 small chili pepper(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, zest
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Thyme
  • some olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 small baguette(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Mash the feta cheese in a small bowl with a fork. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes and add them to the feta cheese with a small splash of oil. Deseed the chili pepper and finely chop it with the garlic. Grate the zest of the lemon. Add everything to the feta cheese and stir well. To make the mixture less thick, add a little milk. Season with thyme to taste. Cut the baguette into slices about 2 cm wide. Drizzle the bread slices with a little olive oil. Spread the feta cheese mixture onto the baguette slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.
