Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g flour
- 170 ml milk
- 8 g yeast
- 40 g lard
- 7 g salt
- 14 sausages (the quantity depends on the size of the sausages)
- some butter
- some sesame
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and pour it into the well, then mix with a little flour. Add the softened lard and salt and work everything into a smooth dough with your hands. Cover and let rest in a warm place for 2 hours. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface into a rectangle measuring 20 x 30 cm. Place the dough sheet on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Leave a border of about 3 cm all around and cut the rest into strips of about 3 cm wide. Now thread the sausages alternately into the strips of dough, like weaving. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
