Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce, dark
- 4 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 5 tbsp chili sauce (Chinese sweet chili sauce)
- 3 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp honey
- 60 ml rice wine
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Combine all ingredients except the rice wine in a bowl. Then add the rice wine a little at a time. Everyone likes a sauce’s consistency differently; some prefer it more runny, others more thick. The more rice wine you add, the more runny the sauce will be. Let everything simmer for about 30 minutes and serve for dipping.
