Gooseberry Whisky Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg gooseberries
  • 8 cl whiskey
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 kg gelling sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Clean and wash the gooseberries. Roughly puree with a hand blender. Stir in the vanilla sugar and preserving sugar and bring to a boil. Then simmer gently for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the whiskey. Pour the jam into prepared jars while still hot and seal immediately.
