Super-quick recipe for parties. Finger food – various variations possible

Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature if necessary. Cut squares from the dough sheets (depending on the manufacturer, these squares will be pre-cut), roll them up, and shape them into croissants. Brush the tops with egg yolk and garnish with sliced olives, sea salt, and rosemary, or blue cheese and pumpkin seeds, or sun-dried tomatoes (if marinated in oil, drain well first), or ham and grated cheese. The quantities vary. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Follow the package instructions for the temperature. Serve immediately. A green salad or other appetizers go well with this.
