Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 can of dough for 6 croissants from the refrigerated section
  • 180 g minced pork, seasoned (e.g. Mett, Thuringian Mett…)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp horseradish (cream horseradish)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 80 g cheese (Edam or Emmental), grated
  • some milk
  • Salt
  • Paprika powder

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Mix it with the ground beef, tomato paste, and horseradish, and season generously with salt and paprika. Carefully remove the croissant dough from the can, unroll it, and divide it into six pre-cut pieces. Top each piece with the ground beef mixture and cheese. Roll them into croissants and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the croissants with a little milk to enhance their color. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
