Chicken strips with mushrooms and kohlrabi, from the oven

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms, brown
  • 2 small kohlrabi
  • 4 shallots
  • 600 g chicken
  • 3 cups of cream (200 g each)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • lots of paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • 300 ml broth of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Combine the meat with the desired amount of seasoning and 1 cup of cream and set aside. Briefly sauté the shallots, add the mushrooms, and sauté for about 5 minutes. Pour in the broth until everything is covered. Once it begins to simmer, add the diced kohlrabi. Bring to a boil briefly, then add the meat and cream, along with 2 more cups of cream. Season to taste and bring back to a boil. Spread in a large casserole dish. Sprinkle with plenty of parsley and bake in the oven at 200°C for 45 minutes.
