Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 jar plum(s)
- 3 eggs
- 250 g quark
- 60 g semolina
- 100 g sugar
- ½ tsp lemon zest
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Grease a loaf pan or line it with baking paper. Drain the plums in a sieve. Mix the eggs, quark, semolina, and sugar with the lemon zest to form a batter. Then pour the mixture into the pan. Arrange the plums on top. Place the cake in the oven at 180°C for about half an hour. Then let it cool in the pan before removing the finished cake. Another tip: You can also use a jar of cherries instead of the plums.
