Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g minced meat (beef)
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly cheese, sliced
  • possibly cayenne pepper or paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes

Basic recipe for hamburgers

The ground beef is kneaded with the eggs and breadcrumbs until smooth and seasoned with salt and pepper. Divide the meat into 8 equal portions and form flat burger patties. Fry or grill the patties for about 4 minutes on each side. 1-2 minutes before the end of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheese, if desired. If you like it spicier, you can season the ground beef with cayenne pepper, hot paprika, or something similar.
