Crostini with mortadella cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 slices of baguette
  • 200 g sausage (mortadella)
  • 3 tbsp butter, soft
  • 2 gherkins
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Toast the baguette slices or bake in the oven at 250°C for about 12 minutes. Remove the skin from the mortadella and cut the sausage slices into strips or cubes. Blend with the butter in a blender or food processor until smooth. Finely chop the gherkins, mix into the paste, and season with salt and pepper. Spread the spread on the bread and serve warm or cold.
