Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 cups of water (cream cup)
  • 200 g ham (crusted ham)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 125 g bacon, cut into strips
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 can peas and carrots, drained
  • 2 packs of gratin cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Dice the ham and onion. Place the cream and water in a large pot, season with salt, add the pasta, and cook for about 5-8 minutes. In the meantime, lightly fry the bacon strips, then add the minced meat and fry. Once the minced meat is cooked, add the onions and ham and fry briefly. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and paprika. If you like it a little spicier, you can add a little hot paprika. Add the finished meat mixture to the pasta in the pot and stir. Then add the peas and carrots and stir. Simmer for a few minutes on the lowest heat. Then add some of the grated cheese (no more than half a package) to the pot and stir in. Transfer everything to a baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
