Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g pasta, not spaghetti
- 1 tbsp oil for frying
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 300 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 can of corn, approx. 285 g drained weight
- 1 can kidney beans, approx. 255 g drained weight
- 200 ml cream
- 150 ml ketchup
- 1 tsp paprika powder, hot or sweet
- 1 tsp oregano
- salt and pepper
- n. B. Fresh herbs for garnishing
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente according to the package instructions, then drain. Heat the oil in a large pan. Finely dice the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Drain the corn and beans and add them to the pan, frying briefly. Stir in the cream and ketchup. Season the sauce with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well and simmer briefly. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. Add a little pasta water or cream if necessary. Serve the minced meat and pasta dish on plates and garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
