Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 12 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Salt
  • 250 ml olive oil
  • lemon juice
  • Water, warm
  • 400 g sour cream
  • Parsley, finely chopped

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

… a delicious garlic sauce

Peel and crush the garlic cloves, then mix well with the mustard, egg yolk, and salt in a mixing bowl using a mixer (whisk attachment). Add the oil, a drop at a time (!), then a thin stream. Whisk in the lemon juice and water until creamy. Finally, stir in the sour cream and parsley. Let it simmer for a while. This sauce goes perfectly with grilled meats and boiled potatoes, or simply with toasted baguette.
