Almond and Pear Tart
The perfect almond and pear tart recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Pears fresh
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 3 Cloves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 75 g Butter
- 50 g Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 40 g Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 50 g Ground almonds
- 30 g Sliced almonds
- 3 tablespoon Elderflower syrup
- Cut the pears in half, peel them, remove the stems and core. Put in a saucepan with sugar and spices. Pour enough water to cover everything. Bring everything to the boil briefly. Stew on a low flame for about 10 minutes. Take it from the stove and let it cool off.
- Mix the butter with sugar until creamy. Stir in eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the ground almonds. Add to the egg mixture and stir in briefly.
- Drain the pears. Grease a tart pan (approx. 25 cm diameter). Pour in the dough and smooth it out. Spread the pears on the dough. Sprinkle with the sliced almonds. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- Take the cake out of the oven and drizzle with elderflower syrup.
