Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg potatoes
- 500 g onion(s)
- Salt
- pepper
- 250 g mutton (shoulder)
- 250 g pork (leg)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ tsp thyme
- 1 liter white wine (dry)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours
Peel and slice the potatoes. Slice the onions. Rub the meat with salt and pepper, sprinkle with chopped garlic, crushed bay leaf, and thyme. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper. Place everything in an ovenproof dish along with the meat. Top with white wine and cover the dish tightly or cover with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven at 225 degrees Celsius for about 1 1/2 hours.
