Deep Dish Pizza

Mix the flour, cornmeal, salt, and sugar in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the water and yeast, add the melted butter, and pour it all into the dry ingredients. Mix everything well until a cohesive dough forms. If it’s too dry, add water; if it’s too wet, add flour. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours. Roll out the dough, spread the softened butter on it with a knife, roll it up, and form it into a ball. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. For the sauce, grate an onion and fry it in a pan with the garlic cloves. Add the tomatoes, salt, sugar, and oregano, and simmer for about 30 minutes, until some of the liquid has evaporated. The sauce should be very thick. Roll out the dough and place it in a greased 26 cm round baking pan. Prick the dough a few times with a fork. Spread a packet of grated cheese on the dough. Then add the topping, followed by the tomato sauce, and finally more grated cheese. Bake the pizza in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes.
