  • 300 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g yeast, fresh
  • 125 ml milk
  • 30 g butter
  • some olive oil
  • some herbs of Provence or an Italian blend
  • some garlic granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Appetizer with herbs

Knead the first five ingredients into a yeast dough and let it rise for 45 minutes. Roll it out and brush with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs and garlic granules, and cut out rectangles with a pizza cutter. Now take two of these rectangles and place them upright in a tight circle in the center of a springform pan, then arrange more rectangles around them until all the dough is used up. This should now look like a rose blossom, from which you can later pick off each petal. Bake at 200°C for about 30-35 minutes.
