Tomato and garlic baguette

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 baguette(s)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise or tartar sauce
  • some margarine or butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

great for grilling and as finger food

Cut the baguette into slices. Spread with margarine and toast in the oven at about 200°C until golden brown. In the meantime, mix the mayo and garlic powder to taste and season with salt and pepper. When the baguette slices are a nice golden brown, spread with the mayo mixture and top with tomato and cheese. Bake for another 3 minutes. These snacks are always the first to go at a party.
