Anise almonds from the microwave

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g almond kernels
  • 2 tsp aniseed
  • 75 g sugar, about
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 14 minutes

Grind the aniseed and mix with the sugar in a microwave bowl. Add the water and mix well. Add the almonds to the sugar mixture and mix well. Microwave the mixture for 1 minute at 600 watts, then mix well with a fork. Return to the microwave for 2 minutes, mix well again, and return to the microwave for another minute. Separate any almonds that may be stuck together. Allow to cool completely in the bowl or on a plate. Store the aniseed almonds in a screw-top jar.
